On March 12th 1998, the United States Agency for International Development certified Partners International Foundation as a provisionally registered Private Voluntary Organization, having found it qualified for voluntary registration pursuant to Part 203 of Title 22, Code of Federal Regulations. Partners International Foundation is now able to compete for USAID development programs, to include grants, in pursuit of its programs. The foundation will also be listed in the USAID registry of private and voluntary organizations (PVOs). This represents a milestone in Partners International Foundation's development as an organization, realizing one of it's strategic planning goals. The president and board of directors at the foundation look forward to expanding the organization's international participation as a result of this certification.
